Austrian Centre for Electron Microscopy and Nanoanalysis, Graz University of Technology. The Centre consists of the "Research Institute for Electron Microscopy and Fine Structure Research"  (FELMI) of the Graz University of Technology  and the "Centre for Electron Microscopy Graz"  (ZFE Graz) which is a member of the ACR organisation. ETH Zurich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich is a science and technology university with an outstanding research record.

GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam SIMS Laboratory, GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam operates a fully equipped Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer (SIMS) laboratory. Our facility is based around a Cameca ims 6f magnetic sector ion microprobe; this highly automated tool provides both isotopic and trace element information at the micron-scale.

Institute of Microelectronics (IME), Singapore. IME does researches, provide services and organise training / Courses. Their strategic focuses are: MEMS, Deep submicron, I.C. design & modelling, System design/SoC, Advanced packaging, Failure analysis & reliability, Foundry for innovative device.

Laboratoire d’ Etude de l’ Intégration des Composants et Systèmes Electroniques, IXL laboratory – ENSEIRB – University Bordeaux 1, French – CNRS UMR 5818.

Microelectronics Devices Laboratory, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Maryland, specializes in failures analysis and related methodology for integrated circuits and packages. It has the capability to meet these challenges and successfully perform the failure analysis of the integrated circuit (IC) packages with the state-of-the-art analytical techniques. Both destructive and nondestructive failure analysis of IC packages can be performed.

Materials Research Institute (MRI), Penn State University. MRI is the gateway to materials research at the University. It coordinates, supports, and performs materials research.

Microscopy Center at Lehigh University, The Microscopy Center at Lehigh exists primarily to support the research programs at Lehigh University. It also serves as a resource for research by users from other institutions including industry, government laboratories and other Universities.

NanoSIMS Homepage, laboratory for space sciences, at Washington University in Saint Louis, MO

National University of Singapore/Center for Failure Analysis. The research focus of CICFAR is on the investigation and development of new techniques and instrumentation systems for physical and failure analysis of semiconductor materials, devices and circuits, and the application of these techniques and systems for reliability studies.

Nano- and Micro-Mechanical Behavior Laboratory, Center for Advanced Materials, LEHIGH University. The research domains include Thin Film Deposition, Small-scale Mechanica Testing, Surface Roughness Measurement, Sample Preparation and Medium/Large scale Mechqnicai Testing, etc.

Southwest Research Institute, SwRI, is an independent, nonprofit applied research and development organization. The staff specialize in the creation and transfer of technology in engineering and the physical sciences. The Institute provides laboratories, test facilities, workshops, and offices.

Sandia National Laboratories, Electronics Quality/Reliability Center, Revolutionizing electronics reliability and failure analysis is the mission of Sandia's Electronics Quality/Reliability Center (EQRC). The EQRC is also actively involved in education and training from multimedia training software to short courses to nationally televised semester-long graduate courses with the University of New Mexico.

Sandia National Laboratories: MSTC: Failure Analysis, they perform failure analysis on a large variety of components. Their technical solutions not only meet the needs of Sandia's critical missions, but are being used today by a broad base of leading commercial electronics manufacturers. they have also some Education programmes.

Tyndall National Institute, ireland, their research programmes are focussed on the development of core technology competencies that will yield technology platforms for future high impact innovation and commercial exploitation. Ongoing Tyndall ICT research themes encompass critical topics in microtechnologies, photonics, nanotechnology and research at the ICT / Bio interface.

TIMA Laboratory, Techniques of Informatics and Microelectronics for computer Architecture, this laboratory works on hardware design (computer architecture, microprocessor-based architectures, VLSI) and on CAD software (multi-level and mixed-mode simulation, physical design, architectural synthesis, system-level design). It is organized in research groups : Micro and Nano Systems ( MNS), Reliable Mixed-signal Systems (RMS), System Level Synthesis (SLS), Verification and modeling of Digital Systems (VDS), QuaLiFication of circuits (QLF), Concurrent Integrated Systems (CIS).
